A homestead that doesn't cut corners
Every farm has a beginning; ours started with a dream, a young family, and a patch of land in Lower Kabete.
The beginning
It started with a plot and a stubborn belief
Lucy and David founded Kagira Ridge Farm in 2021. What began as a humble homestead, driven by a powerful dream, grew into a self-sufficient farm producing food for their growing young family. While working the land, Lucy in particular found that being in nature and handling the soil offered a therapeutic experience, at a time when she was going through a personal rough patch.
What started as a personal commitment to growing food that was safe, nutrient-dense, and of exceptional quality has since evolved into a thriving farm rooted in purpose and sustainability. Every crop grown at Kagira Ridge Farm reflects our belief that food should nourish and heal both people and the environment. Through thoughtful farming practices and a deep respect for the land, we're committed to producing wholesome food families can enjoy with confidence.
